About Harper Lane Property
Harper Lane Property is a small residential landlord and refurbisher, working two wards rather than spreading across a whole city. We buy three bed terraces and small semis, take each one back to a sound roof, a safe electrical and plumbing system, and a proper kitchen and bathroom, then let it to a tenant who is going to live in it for a while, not a photograph for one week only.
We hold what we buy. A refurbishment is judged by what a tenant finds a year in, not by what a photograph shows in week one, and a tenancy is judged by whether it is still a fair arrangement two years later, not only on the day it is signed.
How we work
- Every property is bought against a written set of tests before an offer is made, not on enthusiasm on the day.
- Refurbishment covers roof, electrics, plumbing, kitchen and bathroom as standard, not as an upgrade.
- Lettings go through referencing and a proper tenancy agreement, with deposits protected as the law requires.
- A property is advertised when it is ready, not before, and a date we give is a date we can stand behind.
